Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Plating Operator (Line Leader) to develop and manage shift teams, ensuring safe, productive use of resources and on-time delivery. You will lead operators, optimize schedules, and maintain high product quality while driving continuous improvements.

Responsibilities include directing production flow, coordinating with QA, implementing Kaizen ideas, and promoting lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college education or a diploma/vocational course
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Line Leader in manufacturing
• Experience in production set-up and supervising operators
• Ability to interpret product drawings and manage inventories

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage shifting members to optimize resources, safety, and efficiency
• Provide direction and support to operators during operations
• Ensure on-time output delivery and production quality
• Maintain shop discipline, schedule operations, and supervise production flow
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve production quality issues
• Promote Kaizen ideas and lean manufacturing practices (5S)
