Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Platform AI Engineer to design, develop, and own core components of a Kubernetes-based private cloud AI platform in an onsite role in the Philippines. You will translate feature specs into robust designs and production-ready code, building scalable backend services in Golang while ensuring security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in cloud or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized systems, CNI, CSI, PV/PVC lifecycle management.
• Experience with Infrastructure layers such as Linux, Server, GPU, Storage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own core platform components of a Kubernetes-based private cloud AI platform.
• Translate feature specifications into robust designs, implementation plans, and production-ready code.
• Build and evolve backend services and controllers in Golang, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Lead the debugging and resolution of complex cross-layer issues involving applications, Kubernetes, CNI, CSI Drivers and External Storage.
• Drive CI/CD best practices for deploying and managing cloud-native services.
• Act as a technical reference point for less experienced team members; provide code reviews and guidance.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help evaluate and integrate new technologies into the platform.
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure efficient delivery in a hybrid team setup.
