Job summary

Prysmian Group Philippines seeks a Plant Director to lead our cable manufacturing facility, driving safe, efficient production and strict quality controls. You will manage production teams, optimize processes, and align operations with customer demand, budgets, and strategic goals.

The role requires 8–15 years in cable manufacturing with 3–5 years in management, a solid grasp of extrusion and insulation processes, and a proven track record in Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or related field).
• MBA is a plus.
• 8–15 years in cable manufacturing with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of extrusion, stranding, insulation, sheathing, testing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Understanding of electrical and fiber optic cable industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all plant operations, including production, quality control, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead and supervise plant staff, including supervisors, technicians, and operators.
• Plan maintenance programs and capital investments.
• Coordinate with sales, supply chain, and logistics to meet customer demand.
• Manage budgets, analyze costs, and drive cost savings.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance; conduct safety audits.
