Job summary

Unahco, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Cebu City to analyze trends, costs, and revenues and to oversee the finances of the manufacturing plant.

The role requires strong leadership and communication, solid analytical and strategic thinking, and hands-on experience with Excel spreadsheets. A bachelor’s degree in Accountancy is required, with CPA preferred. Candidate should work with initiative and require minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• CPA is an advantage, but not required.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience preferably with exposure in plant operations.
• Superb leadership and communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proven skills in using spreadsheets (Excel).
• Works with initiative and requires minimal supervision
• Driven, dedicated to work.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing trends, costs, revenues and financial commitment.
• Prepares analysis reports of accounting activities and data.
• Responsible for anything related to the finances of manufacturing plant
• Tracks inventory on day to day basis
• Ensures all variances incurred along the process are supported by solid explanation
• Supervises cycle counts / physical counts and works in close coordination with internal auditors
• Provides evaluation as to efficiency and utilization of labor force
• Ensures that all the assets of the company tagged secured.
