Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group in Manila is seeking a senior Piping Engineer with 10–12 years of experience in oil & gas and advanced facilities to design and model piping systems for complex industries. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with international codes and deliver high-quality designs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with a valid PRC Professional License.
• 10–12 years of project experience in oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, and advanced facilities.
• Proficiency with CADWorx, Revit, S3D, Navisworks; strong 2D/3D modeling and MS Office skills.
• Strong understanding of US and EU regulatory codes and standards.
• Competence in piping layout and 2D/3D modeling for piping systems, structures, and equipment.
• Commitment to quality control and accuracy across deliverables.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with mentoring ability.

• Participate in technical meetings and piping 3D model reviews.
• Evaluate equipment and piping layouts to optimize installation.
• Prepare piping supports, MTO, layouts, and isometrics.
• Review and approve vendor drawings; prepare piping line lists and ensure P&ID compliance.
• Select SP material components and prepare SP Item Lists.
• Perform calculations for pipe wall thickness and other components.
• Ensure strict quality control by checking your own work and reviewing calculations.

Your impact

At Jacobs, we deliver innovative solutions for Aviation, Power, Building, Infrastructure, and Advanced Facilities projects. As a Piping Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and modeling piping systems for complex industrial projects. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with international codes and deliver efficient, high-quality designs.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare piping layouts and perform 2D/3D modeling of piping systems, structures, and equipment usingCADWorx, Revit, and S3D.
• Participate in technical meetings and piping 3D model reviews.
• Evaluate equipment and piping layouts to optimize installation.
• Prepare piping supports, MTO, layouts, and isometrics.
• Review and approve vendor drawings; prepare piping line lists and ensure P&ID compliance.
• Select special piping material components and prepare SP Item Lists.
• Perform calculations for pipe wall thickness, spectacle blinds, and other pressure-retaining components.
• Ensure strict quality control by checking your own work and reviewing calculations from other engineers.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and possess a valid PRC Professional License.
• 10-12 years of project experience in oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, and advanced facilities.
• Proficiency in software tools:CADWorx, Revit, S3D, Navisworks, and strong skills in 2D/3D modeling and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong understanding of regulatory codes and standards: US and EU.
• Technical competency in piping layout preparation and 2D/3D modeling for piping systems, structures, and equipment.
• Commitment to quality control, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all deliverables.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff.
