You must thrive under volume, follow strict templates, and problem-solve non-standard requests while coordinating with the production team on shifts starting early from 6am/7am Brisbane time, including weekends.

THE ROLE

This is a senior production editing position within a visual creative and digital media operation that processes school portrait and group photography at scale. You will work inside Adobe Photoshop every shift, applying layers and masking techniques to produce outputs that meet exacting quality standards — consistently, accurately, and at volume. The work is technical, rhythmic, and demands both discipline and sharp problem-solving when non-standard jobs land on your queue.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Perform high-volume photo editing using Adobe Photoshop, working with layers and masking to produce school portrait and group photo outputs that meet defined quality standards.
• Process a high volume of images per shift at production speed, maintaining consistency and accuracy across every output without exception.
• Adhere strictly to internal policies, procedures, and editing standards to ensure downstream departments are not disrupted and production template links remain intact.
• Problem-solve non-standard school requests and outlier jobs that fall outside the standard workflow, applying logical thinking to deliver specific requirements within the system's constraints.
• Work an assigned shift schedule that includes early morning starts from 6am or 7am Brisbane time and weekend work, including a rotating Sunday roster supporting family cutoff processing.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with your team lead and the broader production team via video meetings and group chats, keeping status updates timely and accurate.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Photoshop — specifically with layers and masking — as your primary production tool and the core technical requirement of this role.
• Proven ability to sustain high-volume, high-speed output with consistent quality and accuracy under time pressure, shift after shift.
• Strong problem-solving ability and common sense when handling non-standard or outlier requests that fall outside established workflows.
• Confirmed availability to work weekends, including a rotating Sunday roster, and early morning shifts starting from 6am or 7am Brisbane time.
• Logical, software-oriented thinking — comfortable operating backend production software and understanding how data inputs and template links interact, even without prior experience in the specific system.
• A disciplined, process-first approach to work, with a clear understanding that team-wide consistency directly protects downstream production quality.
