• Address difficult draws and patient reactions with professionalism and care.
• Maintain infection control, hygiene, and safe disposal of sharps and biohazard materials.

Job description

Role: Phlebotomist (Blood extraction ONLY)

Target Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Shifting (Clinic hours 6am - 10pm) (Monday - Sunday)

Work Setup and Location: Onsite (San Juan, Edsa)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Must be a licensed and registered medical technologist
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply - as long as they have strong experience with blood extraction

Knowledge:

• Knowledgeable in infection control, hygiene, and safe disposal of sharp and biohazard materials
• Understanding of veins, circulation, and human body systems related to blood collection
• Basic knowledge of phlebotomy tools, centrifuges, and sample storage requirements

Skills:

• Proficient in venipuncture, capillary puncture, and proper specimen handling
• Efficiently handle multiple patients and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinic or laboratory setting
• Ability to address challenging draws, difficult veins, or unexpected patient reactions
• Has good communication and people skills
