About the role

As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in our laboratory operations by collecting blood and other clinical specimens from patients with precision, care, and professionalism. Your work is essential to ensuring accurate diagnostic testing and supporting the overall quality of patient care at our facility.

Key responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques with accuracy and minimal discomfort

• Prepare and label blood samples appropriately, ensuring proper documentation and chain of custody procedures are maintained

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all specimens are correctly identified and tracked

• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment

• Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and clear explanations of the specimen collection process

• Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient specimen processing

• Adhere to all laboratory standards, quality assurance procedures, and regulatory requirements

About you
