Job summary

China Bank Philippines invites a Research Associate to study Philippine equities, listed companies, and key industries, turning complex data into credible research for sound decisions. You will monitor local/global developments and assess impacts on firms and sectors, delivering timely insights and actionable recommendations.

You will build financial models, produce research reports, and present findings to stakeholders, collaborating across teams while growing market knowledge and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, capital markets, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in equity research or related roles is preferred.
• Strong research, analytical, writing, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with listed companies, industries, and market data sources is advantageous.
• Professional certifications (CFA CFA Level II) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equity research and valuation of Philippine Exchange-listed companies and sectors.
• Analyze earnings, industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory issues.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and analysis.
• Produce investment research reports and quarterly updates.
• Prepare charts, presentations, and briefing materials.
• Present findings to internal stakeholders and clients.
