Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Case Processing Associate to join our pioneering pharmacovigilance practice. You will handle ICSR processing, data entry, and safety narrative preparation, using Argus Safety, Veeva Safety, MedDRA coding, and related PV platforms to ensure high-quality case management.

The role requires 1–2 years in pharmacovigilance, with bachelor's degrees in life sciences or healthcare fields preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety, or ICSR Processing.
• Experience with Argus Safety, Veeva Safety, Oracle Argus, Safety Database Systems, or other PV platforms.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs)
• Perform case intake, data entry, and case book-in activities
• Prepare and update safety case narratives
• Utilize MedDRA and product coding
• Perform quality reviews and case assessments
• Manage workflow updates, case routing, and case closure
• Support labeling and regulatory compliance activities
• Ensure timely reconciliation and submission readiness
• Maintain data accuracy within pharmacovigilance safety databases

Education
