Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee daily operations in the pharmacy, and provide clinical services including immunizations and patient counseling.

You will ensure safe dispensing, maintain inventory integrity, and comply with all regulatory requirements while delivering compassionate care to patients and their families. This full-time role includes weekends and provides a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and act as proxy during shifts when needed
• Support immunizations and counseling to patients
• Manage pharmacy inventory and protect cold chain products
• Ensure operations comply with state/federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain professional conduct and patient privacy at all times
