Job summary

SGS is seeking a Technical Writer (Level I) for its Global Business Solutions center. You will compile scientific reports from validated instrument data and verify cross-technique consistency. You will also run predefined software revalidation tests and assist in SOP/document revision processes.

The role requires a chemistry degree, 2+ years in scientific data entry/reporting, and knowledge of cGMP/GxLP; onsite for 3 months, then transitioning to a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related science field (e.g. pharmacy).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (in scientific data entry and report creation and/or in laboratory testing).
• Demonstrated understanding of cGMP and/or GcLP regulations is required.
• Good understanding of analytical methods; knowledge of regulatory guides such as ICH M10, EP, USP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile scientific reports using validated data from analytical instruments; produce high-quality documentation.
• Crosscheck data across techniques to ensure results are consistent before finalizing reports.
• Execute predefined test scripts for software revalidation and document outputs.
• Document analytical findings in standardized report templates.
• Review EP/USP updates and communicate changes to relevant departments.
