PM Consulting seeks an R&D Director for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing to lead the R&D direction, oversee the product development lifecycle from formulation to process optimization, and drive innovation across tablets, liquids and creams.

You will recruit and mentor an R&D team, manage pilot batches and tech transfer to manufacturing, and ensure GMP/GLP and regulatory compliance.

Ideal: 12–15 years in pharma R&D, 5+ in leadership, CDMO background, and a licensed pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Pharmacist preferred.
• 12–15 years in pharma R&D with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Experience in toll manufacturing or CDMO environment.

Responsabilités

• Shape and execute the R&D direction aligned with business goals and client needs.
• Oversee full product development lifecycle from formulation through process optimization.
• Lead development of new formulations and tech transfer to manufacturing.
• Manage pilot batch production and scale-up activities; handover to manufacturing.
• Ensure collaboration across R&D, Production, QA, and Regulatory teams.
