Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist and validate quality control inspections by spot checking at designated process points
• Ensure timely completion and filing of required inspection reports
• Perform checking of facilities and premises to ensure conformance to cleaning, sanitation, space, safety and environmental standards
• Check and coordinate with maintenance for timely upkeep of equipment and machineries, and prepare documentation for repairs and maintenance
• Monitor and maintain conformance of production runs regularly
• Maintain checklists of parameters for regular verification and keep records on file
• Collect samples for newly delivered raw and packaging materials and perform required tests to ensure conformance to specifications
• Test and analyze samples of bulk, in-process products and finished goods
• Prepare inspection reports for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods
• Author quality management system policies and procedures
• Review implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
• Determine, negotiate and agree on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications
• Investigate and set standards for quality, health and safety
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with standards, systems and procedures
• Work with operating staff to establish standards, systems and procedures
• Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and goods
• Write technical reports and other necessary requirements for third party clients
• Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers and licensing bodies
• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
• Release finished goods to warehouse upon review and approval of batch products
