Job summary

SGS Philippines is seeking a Technical Writer (Level I) to compile accurate scientific reports using validated data from analytical instruments within the Global Business Solutions center.

You will verify data consistency across techniques, execute predefined test scripts for software re-validation, and support the revision and approval of SOPs, worksheets, and forms in line with SGS quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in chemistry or related science required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in scientific data entry and report creation or lab testing in pharma settings.
• Working knowledge of cGMP/GxP regulations.
• Familiarity with ICH M10 and pharmacopeias (EP, USP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile scientific reports using validated data from analytical instruments with clear, structured documentation.
• Crosscheck data consistency across techniques and report discrepancies.
• Run predefined test scripts for software re-validation and document outputs; perform retesting after updates.
• Draft and revise testing worksheets, protocols, and reports; ensure SOP approvals.
• Review compendia updates (EP, USP) and communicate changes to relevant departments.
• Support SOP, worksheet and form approvals; conduct spreadsheet validation per SOPs.
• Perform other duties to support department goals and professional development.
