Job summary

Generika Drugstore in the Philippines seeks a Category Analyst to support the Category Lead in maintaining the pharmaceutical product portfolio and driving a demand-driven assortment for stores. You will conduct market analysis, manage product lifecycle, coordinate with procurement, and ensure pricing and placement from the distribution center to store level with a focus on accuracy and collaboration.

The role requires a medical background, at least three years in pharmacies, strong Excel

Qualifications

• College graduate of any medical course.
• Minimum three-year’s experience in pharmacies or pharmaceutical companies.
• Pharmaceutical product knowledge.
• Effective communicationskills both written and oral.
• Effective analytical and problem-solvingskills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Accuracy and keen eye for detail.
• Computer literate with advanced skill in using Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
• Highly trainable and strategic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis from data analytics and field work to report industry trends for pharma products.
• Monthly category performance reviews to track KPIs and implement plans and programs to arrest or improve the category performance.
• Manages the lifecycle process of pharmaceutical products with regular product rationalization to advise on retention and delisting.
• Execute plans and programs to ensure product availability and proper placement and movement from DC up to Store level.
• Monthly price scan updates to ensure products are competitive and updated.
• Administrative tasks per assigned category: item code creation, status change requests, system price updates, category masterfiles, pricing and announcements.
• Provide reports to stakeholders regarding significant updates of pharmaceutical products.
• Alignment with Corporate Pharma and Procurement for product-related issues.
