Job summary

Cynapse.ai in the Philippines is seeking a Performance Test Engineer to own performance testing for Cynapse products. You will design, develop, and execute tests, create benchmarks, run scenarios, and coordinate with engineering and DevOps to resolve bottlenecks.

You will communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, automate tests, monitor system performance, and ensure release readiness with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional experience in performance testing.
• Hands-on with JMeter, Gatling, Locust, k6, or LoadRunner.
• Experience with monitoring/profiling tools (Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Java, C#).

Job Description

We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer to join our team in the Philippines. In this role, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and executing performance test strategies for cynapse products. You will create benchmarks, run complex test scenarios, analyze results, and work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

This role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional experience in performance testing, with solid hands‑on expertise.
• Proven track record using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, Locust, k6, or LoadRunner.
• Experience with monitoring and profiling tools (Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Java, C#, or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD environments.
• Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, caching systems, and messaging systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communicator, able to translate technical findings into business impact.
• Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
