PeopleSoft Functional Lead (Future Opportunity)

Overview:

Metric5 is seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Functional Lead with 6-10 year’s development and/or implementation experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, with additional experience with HRConnect desired. The ideal candidate will have a strong analyst background, a deep understanding of PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 or higher, and will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, implementing new modules and enhancements, and providing technical and functional support. The candidate may or may not lead an actual team on a project, but in either case, this functional role is hands-on driving deliverables, fit-gap analysis, data mapping, developing reports and interfaces, configuring the modules, and collaborating with key stakeholders and the client's IT team to optimize system functionality and ensure seamless business operations. The ideal candidate will excel at communication, organization, team management, customer management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in project planning, defining requirements, and coordinating system enhancements. Collaborate and coordinate project deliverables.
  • Identify cross-team issues and coordinate their resolution.
  • Work with the client's IT team to develop functional and technical architecture.
  • Perform detailed analysis, planning, and requirements definition for new PeopleSoft HCM functionality. Facilitate requirements gathering and user design sessions with key stakeholders. Conduct business process analysis, gap analysis/process mapping, and system design for new functionality.
  • Collaborate with Agile team members to complete user stories.
  • Ensure applications align with business needs and collaborate with process owners to resolve issues.
  • Develop functional mock-ups, workflows and models to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Ensure all phases of Testing are performed as required such as: end-to-end testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure seamless data flow and system integration between PeopleSoft and external systems.
  • Aid with production support, troubleshooting, and resolution of system issues.
  • Assist with the development of training materials and assist in user training sessions for system enhancements as needed.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years of functional experience with PeopleSoft systems.
  • 5+ year’s experience in Agile software delivery methodologies and Jira software.
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, functional design and configuration.
  • Federal project experience is strongly preferred.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 annually

Location: Must reside in the Washington, DC Metro Area. Work may be onsite and/or hybrid

Clearance: US Citizenship is required (required by the federal government for this position). Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
