Private Advertiser is seeking a PB Charge Capture / Same Day Surgery (SDS) Coder to translate outpatient procedures from same-day surgery into accurate medical codes in line with coding guidelines. This onsite role welcomes a certified coder with SDS experience and a Nursing or Medical Allied background.

Responsibilities include reviewing procedures, assigning codes, ensuring documentation completeness, and coordinating with teams on coding-related queries, while complying with coding standards.

Qualifications

• Active COC, CPC, or CCS certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or any Medical Allied course.
• At least 2 years of experience in Same Day Surgery (SDS) coding.

Job Summary

We are looking for a PB Charge Capture / Same Day Surgery (SDS) Coder responsible for accurately translating outpatient procedures and diagnoses performed on the same day into appropriate medical codes based on official coding guidelines.

The role is ideal for a certified medical coder with solid Same Day Surgery (SDS) coding experience and a background in Nursing or a Medical Allied course.

Key Responsibilities

• Review outpatient procedures and diagnoses performed during same-day surgery.

• Assign accurate medical codes based on official coding and reporting guidelines.

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of coding documentation.

• Review clinical documentation and identify relevant coding information.

• Maintain compliance with established coding standards and processes.

• Coordinate with relevant teams regarding coding-related concerns and clarifications.

Qualifications
