Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• This role is for a medical coder specializing in ambulatory surgery cases. The primary responsibility is to accurately review medical records (specifically SDS—likely meaning Surgical Day Services or a similar designation) and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• This includes correct sequencing of codes and application of Level I and Level II modifiers, all in accordance with official coding guidelines, coding clinics, and CPT assistants.
