Position Summary

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and compliant payroll across designated countries/regions by consistently executing assigned tasks and processes. The role focuses on payroll administration, reporting, validation, and issue resolution while ensuring adherence to global standards, statutory requirements, internal controls, and service‑level commitments. The Payroll Analyst also contributes to continuous improvement, system enhancements, project delivery, and operational excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute day‑to‑day payroll tasks and processes for assigned countries in alignment with global standards and country‑specific requirements.
  • Perform payroll reporting, reconciliations, validations, and data checks across payroll, HR, and/or finance systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of pay slips, certificates, employee/business payroll requests, and or third‑party entity payments as applicable.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll issues raised by employees and partners.
  • Maintain payroll mailboxes and manage cases and inquiries through service‑management tools.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Execute tasks in compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, audit procedures, and country legislation.
  • Support audits by supplying requested records and evidence in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update payroll documentation including SOPs, process guides, and work instructions.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verification of system changes, releases, and vendor/system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with internal partners (HR, Finance, IT) and third‑party payroll providers on operational and project‑related activities.
Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Required: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HR or finance/payroll operations, preferably in a shared‑services or multinational environment.
  • Required: Hands‑on knowledge of payroll processing concepts and statutory payroll requirements.
  • Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and common Microsoft Office tools.
  • Required: Familiarity with payroll and HR systems (SAP and/or Workday preferred; ADP and other payroll systems advantageous).
  • Required: Experience with case management or ticketing tools.
  • Required: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Required: Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Required: Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Required: High degree of confidentiality and adherence to data privacy and internal controls.
  • Required: Customer‑focused with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Required: Collaborative team player who builds effective working relationships.
  • Required: Adaptable to multiple cultures and cross‑functional interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting EMEA and/or ASPAC payroll processes.
  • Experience with timekeeping systems or case management tools.
  • Experience working with external payroll providers (e.g., ADP, EY, Deloitte).
  • Familiarity with SOX and business control frameworks, desktop procedures, and knowledge‑management practices.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic macros).
  • Prior experience in continuous improvement initiatives, automation tools (e.g., Alteryx), or payroll reporting tools.
