Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0 years of experience required; 1 year of customer service or hospital/physician office registration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Epic or other hospital information systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Pre-registers new Adult and Pediatric patients by calling or messaging via CRM tool.
• Collects and documents patient demographic, financial, and other information into Epic.
• Verifies patient identification and updates demographics, insurance, and PCP.
• Assists patients with Patient Gateway enrollment and eCheck-In signatures.
• Manages insurance questions and collaborates with Financial Counselor as needed.
• Documents daily activities in the hospital information system and templates.
