Job summary

Jinyi Import & Export Trading Co., Inc. seeks an meticulous Inventory Controller to maintain accurate stock records and monitor all movements. You will ensure real-time encoding of transactions and conduct regular audits to support management decisions.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, reconciliations, and generating daily to monthly inventory reports. Collaborate with warehouse and accounting teams to optimize reorder levels and stock valuation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field; college level with inventory background may be considered.
• 1–2 years of inventory control experience, preferably in heavy equipment, automotive, or logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and parts classification.
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Basic understanding of warehousing, purchasing, and logistics flow.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date inventory records in the system
• Monitor stock movement (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments)
• Ensure real-time and accurate encoding of all transactions
• Conduct cycle counts, monthly, and quarterly physical inventory audits
• Reconcile system records with actual stock and investigate variances
• Coordinate with Parts Specialist and Warehouseman to verify part movements
• Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
• Assist management in setting reorder levels and buffer stock
• Liaise with accounting for inventory valuation and audit-related matters
• Ensure inventory system data is accurate, updated, and free from duplication
