Compassion International, Inc. is seeking a Partnership Facilitator to strengthen church capacity and community impact in Agusan del Norte and Misamis Oriental. You will liaise with local churches, pastors, NGOs, and government partners to plan, implement, and monitor church-led programs benefiting children and youth.

Agusan del Norte and Misamis Oriental Compassion is looking for a Partnership Facilitator who is passionate about working alongside local churches to strengthen their capacity, resources, and community impact. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison with local church partners—building trusted relationships, supporting church-led programs, facilitating planning and learning, mobilizing local resources, and connecting churches with communities and organizations that can help advance their ministry to children and youth. You’ll work closely with pastors, church leaders, church staff, NGOs, community organizations, local government units, and other stakeholders to help churches identify needs, develop practical strategies, implement programs, and strengthen their ministry impact.
Build strong, trusted partnerships with local churches and support their growth, ownership, and capacity.
Work alongside pastors and church leaders to identify needs and strengthen church-led ministry to children and youth.
Facilitate needs assessments, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
Coordinate support with cross-functional teams based on each church partner’s needs and priorities.
Help churches identify and mobilize local resources, partnerships, and community networks.
Encourage collaboration and peer learning among partner churches.
Build relationships with NGOs, government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
Promote child protection and help church partners strengthen safe and supportive environments for children and youth.
Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrate a consistent Christian witness, and model a courteous, Christ-like attitude in working with others.
Uphold the organization’s mission, values, and cultural behaviors in all interactions.
Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Active member of a local church with a strong commitment to serving local churches and children’s ministry.
Clear understanding of church structure, leadership, and ministry functions.
At least 3 years of professional experience in community development, partnership management, program development, or a related field.
Professional work experience outside the local church, such as with an NGO, faith-based organization, community organization, local government unit, or similar organization.
Experience working effectively with organizations and stakeholders beyond the local church.
Experience in partnership management and working effectively with local church partners and other stakeholders.
Strong relationship-building, facilitation, communication, coordination, and networking skills.
Ability to mobilize local resources and develop strategic partnerships.
Fluency in a Visayan language.
Experience as a church leader or head of a church ministry.
Pastoral training or theological/ministry education.
Strong connection to and understanding of the local community.
Residence in or strong familiarity with Agusan del Norte, Misamis Oriental, Butuan City, Cagayan de Oro, or nearby communities.
Experience in WASH, education, livelihood development, grant-funded programs, or program cycle management.
Experience with evaluation reports, impact assessments, financial management, or community mobilization.
May be required to travel up to 50% of the normal work schedule.
