Job summary

Compassion International in the Philippines invites a Partnership Facilitator to work with local churches across Agusan del Norte and Misamis Oriental to strengthen capacity and community impact.

You will build trusted relationships with church partners, coordinate planning and learning, mobilize local resources, and connect churches with NGOs and government bodies to advance ministry to children and youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Active member of a local church with commitment to serving local churches and children’s ministry.
• Clear understanding of church structure, leadership, and ministry functions.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in community development, partnership management, program development, or related field.
• Experience outside the local church with NGOs, faith-based organizations, or local government units.
• Experience in partnership management and working with church partners and stakeholders.
• Fluency in a Visayan language.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, trusted partnerships with local churches and support their growth, ownership, and capacity.
• Work with pastors and church leaders to identify needs and strengthen church-led ministry to children and youth.
• Facilitate needs assessments, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
• Coordinate support with cross-functional teams based on each church partner’s needs and priorities.
• Help churches identify and mobilize local resources, partnerships, and community networks.
• Encourage collaboration and peer learning among partner churches.
• Build relationships with NGOs, government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Promote child protection and help church partners strengthen safe and supportive environments for children and youth.
