Makati Hope Language and Learning Center, under Makati Hope Christian School, invites applications for Part-Time ESL Teachers in Makati. We seek candidates with a Bachelor's degree in English, Education or Linguistics, IELTS teaching experience, and a solid command of English.

The role requires after-hours availability, weekend work, and ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds in a supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
• Experience teaching/IELTS preferred.
• Excellent command of English.
• Able to teach students from diverse backgrounds.
• Available after-hours including weekends and holidays.
• Based in Makati; start immediately; 10 AM–2 PM or 1 PM–4 PM.

Responsibilities

• Conduct activities and lessons based on ESL teaching methodologies.
• Encourage and engage students to speak in English.
• Motivate students and use humor to create a pleasant learning environment.
• Maximize students’ talk time with oral tests and presentations.
• Display excellent classroom management.
• Keep accurate records of student performance.
• Communicate with the Department Head or Principal as needed.
• Maintain standardized guidelines.
