Allentown School District is seeking a Part Time Paraprofessional (Cafeteria) to support students in cafeterias, playgrounds, bus areas and other areas as assigned by the principal. The role emphasizes safety, orderly conduct, and fostering positive social behavior.

Responsibilities include assisting the principal to maintain a safe environment, developing appropriate social behavior, responding to emergencies, and performing other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or principal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid Act 34, 114, and Act 151 clearances.
• TB test and physical, with ADA accommodations as appropriate.
• US citizen or holder of a valid work visa.

• Assist the principal in developing appropriate social behavior in the cafeteria and on school property.
• Respond to emergency situations according to standing orders and policies.

Part Time Paraprofessional (Cafeteria)
Starting Hourly Rate: $20.60/hr.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid Act 34, 114, and Act 151 clearances.
• Valid tuberculosis test and physical examination with ADA reasonable accommodations stipulated, as appropriate.
• U. S. citizen or holder of a valid work visa.
• Such additional or alternatives to the above qualifications as the board or superintendent may determine appropriate and acceptable.

• Assist the principal in developing appropriate social behavior in the cafeteria and on school property and grounds.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations as per standing orders and other policies and procedures.
• Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned or delegated by the Superintendent of Schools or principal.
