Job summary

ParaPro is seeking a paraplanner to bring Australian financial advice knowledge into the development and testing of ParaPro. The role focuses on reviewing sample advice documents, testing workflows, and communicating improvements to the development team.

You will work remotely from the Philippines with full-time engagement, helping ensure accuracy in SOAs, ROAs, and supporting information while enhancing templates and processes for better quality control.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing or reviewing Australian advice documents.
• Strong knowledge of superannuation, retirement planning, investments and personal insurance.
• Familiarity with Xplan or comparable software.
• Ability to explain issues clearly to people without a financial advice background.

About ParaPro

ParaPro is an Australian business developing software to help financial advisers prepare and review advice documents, with advisers retaining responsibility for recommendations and final approval.

The role

We’re looking for an experienced paraplanner to bring practical Australian financial advice knowledge into the development and testing of ParaPro.

Your main focus will be reviewing sample advice documents, testing workflows and helping the development team understand what needs improving.

You’ll help with:

Reviewing sample SOAs, ROAs and supporting information.

Checking calculations, assumptions, fees and consistency.

Identifying missing information, unclear wording and technical issues.

Improving templates, checklists and workflows.

Explaining issues clearly and checking that fixes address them.

What we’re looking for

Strong experience preparing or reviewing Australian advice documents, sound knowledge of superannuation, retirement planning, investments and personal insurance, and familiarity with Xplan or comparable software.

You should enjoy investigating problems and explaining your findings to people who may not have a financial advice background.
