Job summary

Private Advertiser in Metro Manila is seeking a diligent legal support professional to assist attorneys with workers' compensation files from intake to trial or settlement. You will manage case files, communicate with clients, doctors, and opposing counsels, and draft pleadings and petitions.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English, possess strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized while handling multiple cases.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a caseload and stay organized.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Adobe; Google Documents; CRM and communications systems.
• Spanish speaker would be ideal, but not required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage client case files.
• Communicate with clients; adjuster; opposing counsels; doctors office; and court personnel.
• Read and review case files including medical reports to assist with strategy for attorney litigation.
• Draft legal documents and forms for attorneys.
• Calendar appointments and hearings, including keeping track of important deadlines for the attorneys.
• Prepare trial exhibits and assist with additional trial preparation.
• Monitor case status and alert attorneys when action is needed.
• Use of court systems to efile documents.
