Detailed Job Description

As a Firewall Engineer supporting enterprise cybersecurity operations in Manila, Philippines, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise perimeter security, firewall policy management, proxy infrastructure, and threat mitigation. Your day-to-day responsibilities include deploying and configuring multi-vendor firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point), managing Zscaler cloud security and proxy tools, authoring security automation scripts, hardening Linux operating systems, troubleshooting complex security rule anomalies, conducting vulnerability assessments, and collaborating closely with network engineering, SOC, and compliance squads. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex security bottlenecks under strict enterprise service level agreements.

• Design, deploy, configure, manage, and optimize enterprise multi-vendor firewall infrastructures and security gateways.
• Administer FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA, and Check Point firewalls across complex enterprise environments.
• Deploy and maintain Zscaler cloud security platforms, secure web gateways (SWG), and forward/reverse proxy architectures.
