Job summary

Coherent Philippines Pte Ltd is seeking a packaging technician to operate packaging line equipment, inspect products for quality, and ensure GMP and safety standards are followed. The role requires associates degree or comparable experience and the ability to work shift schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays.

Reporting to the production team, you will maintain a clean work area and coordinate with QC, warehouse, and maintenance to meet quality targets.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or at least 2 years in college.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or packaging is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Basic ability to read production instructions and complete workplace records.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Prepare and pack the parts based on the correct packaging method.
• Inspect products and packaging for defects, damage, incorrect labels, or other quality issues.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of packaging equipment.
• Follow company policies, GMP, and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work effectively with production, quality control, warehouse, and maintenance teams.
