Job summary

GO DESi is a packaged food brand with an integrated supply chain, seeking a Packaging & Procurement Executive/Sr Executive to source and manage packaging materials. You will lead supplier relationships, drive cost optimization, and ensure quality across laminates, cartons, and printing standards, partnering with Marketing, R&D, and Production on new launches.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology
2-3 years of experience in FMCG packaging procurement and development
Strong understanding of laminates and mono-cartons
Good knowledge of ERP system, MS Excel etc

Responsibilities

Source and procure all packaging materials (MAP trays, laminates, cartons, labels).
Manage vendors, including cost negotiation and payment terms.
Conduct vendor audits and performance reviews.
Ensure packaging materials meet quality and food safety standards.
Coordinate with QA/QC for incoming material inspection.
RFQs/RFPs: run tenders and select vendors.
Collaborate with Marketing, R&D and Production for launches and packaging revamps.
Manage Keyline development, approvals, and printing quality standards.
Maintain supplier relationships for innovation and improvement.
Forecast packaging material requirements based on sales and production plans.
Maintain inventory levels and safety stock.
Coordinate with warehouse/planning to prevent stock-outs.
Take cost-saving projects for packaging cost reduction.
