Job summary

Amentum is seeking a PPSO Specialist to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will manage personal property and Unaccompanied Baggage movements, coordinate shipments, and ensure compliance with DoD guidelines.

The role requires 1-3 years in personal property logistics, English fluency, data-entry proficiency, and the ability to obtain international travel clearances. You will liaise with service providers and customers to deliver secure, efficient property support in a remote overseas

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in personal property shipping and logistics.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with personal property prep, shipping, receiving, and storage processes.
• Proficient in data entry systems and shipment tracking tools.
• Fluent in English (written and oral) with strong communication skills.
• Must be able to travel internationally and obtain necessary visas.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal property and Unaccompanied Baggage support services.
• Coordinate shipment and receipt of personal property items for personnel and dependents.
• Assist customers with documentation for relocation or storage.
• Input and track shipments in data systems; maintain status updates.
• Schedule transportation and storage while complying with DoD guidelines.
• Conduct quality inspections of packing, handling, and storage.
• Collaborate with transport providers to resolve discrepancies.
• Provide customer service for inquiries and guidance on personal property.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and DoD procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
