Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Fuel Distribution System Operator to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role covers storage, handling, and distribution of petroleum products, ensuring safe, efficient operations for mission-critical needs.

Responsibilities include monitoring systems, conducting inspections, and maintaining logs and reports while complying with safety, environmental, and Navy guidelines. International travel and deployment readiness are required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in storage and distribution of petroleum products, with focus on constant pressure systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge of fuel storage and dispensing systems and safety/environmental compliance.
• Must be able to travel internationally and obtain necessary clearances.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain constant-pressure fuel dispensing and storage systems per standards.
• Manage storage and distribution of petroleum products for mission-critical operations.
• Monitor fuel quality, flow rates, and inventory levels to prevent service disruptions.
• Conduct inspections of pumps, valves, tanks, and pipelines for safety and compliance.
