Job summary

Amentum is a global leader in advanced engineering and technology solutions. This Custodial Supervisor role supports a US Navy program on Diego Garcia, overseeing housing and custodial infrastructure, including operations, maintenance, safety, and compliance with policies.

Candidate will manage facilities staff, budgets, and annual plans, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in a remote overseas setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in custodial service management.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of building operations and management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be in possession of a valid passport and able to travel internationally.
• Passport valid for at least one (1) year at time of hire.
• Ability to obtain country-specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain deployment requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
• Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Establishes work requirements, coordinates, prioritizes and completes short and long term projects.
• Oversees Faculty Cleaning, Temporary, and Permanent Housing procedures and processes for base.
• Manages objectives, strategy and performance through development of annual plans, budgets and short and long range plans, and monitors performance relative to plans and budgets.
• Ensures purchasing and inventory control for the facility is cost effective.
• Maintains building integrity and utilities including HVAC and electrical systems.
• Oversees facility operation including general maintenance of HVAC and electrical systems.
• Provides work and service requests as required.
• Oversees and implements all safety policies and procedures.
• Prepares reports to senior management regarding status of facilities activities and projects.
• Responsible for employment, training and performance evaluation of Facilities employees.
• Coordinates Housing assignments with USAG-KA Representatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
