Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking an OutSystems Developer to enhance and maintain an existing banking application by integrating new backend services and microservices. You will extend current architecture, business logic, workflows, and validation rules while preserving stability and data integrity.

You will design, develop, and expose APIs and system integrations to synchronize banking data across the application, database, and backend services.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in OutSystems development.
• Strong experience developing Reactive Web Applications using OutSystems Service Studio.
• Experience with OutSystems API and integration capabilities, including connecting applications with backend services and microservices.
• Strong understanding of the OutSystems database layer and data synchronization.
• Experience working with and enhancing existing application logic, workflows, business rules, and validation mechanisms.
• Ability to assess the impact of application changes and implement enhancements without disrupting existing functionality.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to data integrity, system reliability, and application stability.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain OutSystems banking applications by integrating new backend services and microservices while preserving existing logic and stability.
• Design, develop, and expose APIs and system integrations to synchronize banking data between the OutSystems app, database, and backend services.
• Improve operational dashboards and user-facing features to provide visibility of banking transactions and data from integrated APIs.
• Develop and maintain notification, approval, and workflow processes ensuring business rules and audits are applied.
• Extend validation and business rules to support new banking requirements while maintaining security and process compatibility.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and analyze impact on OutSystems modules, integrations, and database components to minimize disruptions.
