Job summary

HGC Global Communications is seeking an assistant project coordinator in Manila to support planning, execution, and monitoring of OSP fiber projects. You will track milestones, prepare progress reports, and coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, ROW, and QA/QC teams.

The role requires a degree in telecommunications or related fields, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and independently.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in telecommunications or related disciplines.
• Technical support experience is preferable.

• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning, executing, and monitoring OSP fiber projects.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and documentation against approved schedules.
• Prepare and submit weekly progress reports, status updates, and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, ROW, QA/QC).
• Support project close-out activities including documentation compilation and handover packages.
• Assist in preparation of technical submittals, method statements, and material approvals.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors on technical requirements.
• Support field teams on technical issues and escalates to Engineering Lead as needed.
• Maintain organized project documentation (drawings, permits, test records).
• Manage document transmittals, version control, and filing systems.
• Prepare presentation materials for internal and client meetings.
• Assist in procurement documentation including purchase requests and delivery monitoring.
• Support billing and payment processing by validating supporting documents.
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors on project-related matters.
• Attend coordination meetings and document action items.
• Track and follow up on pending requirements from stakeholders.
