Job summary

Maersk Filipinas Crewing Inc. (Marine People Philippines) seeks an Ordinary Seaman with seagoing experience to join our modern container vessels. You will be trained, perform surface maintenance, PPE use, and emergency procedures while adhering to ISM/ISPS standards and safety practices.

Applicants should have 12 months sea service, English speaking ability, STCW compliance, and be ready for development within a global shipping leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months sea service on deck on foreign going ships.
• Working knowledge of spoken English.
• Basic knowledge of ISM, ISPS, and security related duties.
• Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Knowledge of Emergency Procedures (Fire-Abandon-ship-Man overboard-Oil Spill).
• Awareness of Safety meetings, reporting near miss, incidents, accidents.
• Certificates compliant to STCW 2010 Manila amendments requirements.

Maersk Filipinas Crewing Inc. (Marine People Philippines) is looking for competent Ordinary Seaman with relevant seagoing experience, willing to be trained, challenged and expand their knowledge onboard our technically advanced container vessels with the best and latest machinery.

A key position in the deck department onboard one of the world's largest Container shipping company where seafarers are onboarded and equipped to perform and contribute to deliver the vessel commitments. Seafarers are trained and guided in achieving their personal development and career advancement.
