About the Role:
We are looking for Oracle Utilities Techno-Functional Developers & Designers at both Mid-Level (5–7 years) and Senior-Level (8–12+ years) to design, configure, develop, test, and maintain Oracle Utilities applications.
This role combines functional knowledge with hands-on technical development across Oracle CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM, and SGG. You will work on application configuration, custom development, batch processing, integrations, production support, and L2/L3 incident triage.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working within complex Oracle Utilities environments and can translate business requirements into technical solutions while supporting day-to-day operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into FDDs, TDDs, and technical solutions.
- Design, configure, develop, test, and maintain Oracle Utilities applications and custom extensions.
- Develop using Java, Groovy, SQL, PL/SQL, and OUAF configuration tools.
- Monitor and maintain daily/nightly batch jobs, including troubleshooting, stream restarts, and optimization.
- Configure and support Oracle Utilities modules across Billing, Payments, Rating, Collections, and related M2C processes.
- Support MDM, VEE, usage processing, interval data, and smart meter integrations.
- Develop and support REST/SOAP APIs, inbound/outbound messages, and enterprise integrations.
- Investigate L2/L3 production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement break-fix solutions.
- Execute unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment/hyper-care support.
- Collaborate with functional, development, QA, and client teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
Requirements:
- Mid-Level: 5–7 years | Senior-Level: 8–12+ years of direct technical and functional experience in Oracle CC&B, C2M,
- CCS, and MDM.
- Mandatory experience in Batch Processing: daily batch monitoring, batch job execution, thread management, error
- log analysis, and batch optimization.
- Strong programming expertise in Java SE, Groovy scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, XPath/XQuery, and OUAF Configuration
- Tools.
- Hands-on experience writing FDDs/TDDs and executing unit testing, SIT, UAT, and hyper-care stabilization support.
- Solid understanding of the Meter-to-Cash (M2C) lifecycle and MDM VEE/usage calculation engines.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow
Nice to Have (Optional):
- Experience with utility-scale enterprise implementations
- Experience with Oracle cloud releases and environment validation
- Experience integrating Oracle Utilities with Maximo, GIS, Payment Gateways, or CIS Portals
- Experience with smart meter and interval data processing
- Experience with batch performance optimization
- Experience working in offshore staff augmentation or managed services environments
- Familiarity with ITIL incident/change management processes

Note:
