Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines seeks a mid-level to senior testing engineer to automate regression and performance testing within Oracle Utilities environments (CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM).

You will design and run automated regression suites (Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, Java), execute batch load tests, validate data with SQL, and manage defects to deliver SIT/UAT reports and readiness sign-off. Collaborate with dev teams to ensure zero-defect deployments.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of dedicated testing and performance engineering in Oracle Utilities (CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM).
• Experience in batch performance testing and batch cycle monitoring.
• Proficient in automation and performance testing tools (Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, Java/Groovy; LoadRunner/JMeter).
• Strong SQL for test data creation and backend verification.
• Ability to write test plans, test cases, defect logs, and summary sign-off reports.
• Experience in Oracle Cloud release regression testing and environment validation.

Responsibilities

• Manage defects: Log, track, and validate defects in Jira/Azure DevOps/HP ALM; deliver SIT/UAT reports.

Job description

What You'll Do

• Automate regression. Design, build, and run automated regression suites (Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, or JavaScript) covering core M2C and MDM scenarios for zero-defect deployments.
• Test batch performance. Design and run batch load and stress tests (LoadRunner, JMeter, Postman), simulating high-volume billing cycles, IMD ingestion, and usage runs to find bottlenecks and tune threads.
• Execute across the lifecycle. Plan and execute test cases across SIT, UAT, Operational Readiness Testing, dress rehearsal, and post-deployment smoke testing.
• Manage test data. Prepare complex test datasets with SQL across CC&B/C2M/CCS databases. Validate billing calculations, rate components, GL entries, To-Do creation, and meter read VEE statuses.
• Test APIs & integrations. Run functional and performance testing on REST/SOAP APIs, middleware interfaces, and web services using SoapUI, Postman, or automated tools.
• Manage defects. Log, track, and manage defects in Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM/Quality Center. Verify fixes with dev leads and deliver clear SIT/UAT execution reports.

What You Need

• Mid-Level 5–7 yrs | Senior-Level 8–15+ yrs of dedicated testing and performance engineering in Oracle Utilities (CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM)
• Direct experience in batch performance testing, batch cycle monitoring, and load testing on utility-scale datasets
• Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, Java/Groovy) and performance tools (HP LoadRunner, LoadRunner Enterprise, JMeter)
• Strong SQL for test data creation, backend verification, and database state checking
• Proven ability to write test plans, test cases, defect logs, and summary sign-off reports
• Experience in Oracle Cloud release regression testing and environment validation
