Job summary

AboitizPower in the Philippines seeks a Data Migration Developer to design, test, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL scripts that extract data from the WAM and GIS databases for migration to the new system.

You will unbundle bundled assets, document data mappings, and collaborate with the migration team to ensure data quality, governance, and timely delivery. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of SDLC experience, and offers a purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IT or Mathematics.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL or SQL.
• At least 1 year of experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize PL/SQL scripts to extract data from the Oracle WAM and GIS databases.
• Develop scripts to unbundle WAM assets for migration.
• Analyze data structures to determine extraction and transformation logic.
• Validate data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before loading.
• Document extraction and mapping decisions for project records.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and script errors.
• Collaborate with the data migration team and stakeholders to resolve data quality issues.
• Ensure scripts comply with data governance and security standards.
• Provide status updates to the Project Lead.
