Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Manila is recruiting accounting professionals for the Global Business Services center. You will contribute to end-to-end accounting processes from recording and closing to reporting across fixed assets, inventory, intercompany and general accounting.

The role stresses accuracy, strong English communication, and ability to work within SLAs in a fast-paced environment, with SAP experience and a background in SSC or BPO preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS in Accountancy, Finance, or Commerce.
• CPA license preferred.
• Experience in fixed assets, inventory, intercompany, or general accounting transactions.
• Overall years of experience per level in accounting to report processes: 0-1 year Analysts, 1-2 years Specialists, 2-4 Senior Specialists, 4-6 Supervisors.
• Knowledge in SAP system and prior SSC/BPO exposure.
• Digital skills are preferred.
• Strong English communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in general ledger.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and intercompany balances.
• Perform bank reconciliation and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and adjustments.
• Provide reports and other complex reporting for stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues; document in logs.
• Review and approve Blackline journals per policy.
• Support internal controls and iPace documentation.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidation reports.
• Identify process improvements.

Job description

We are currently pooling accounting professionals to join our dynamic ATR team for the Global Business Services center in Manila.

This team is responsible for the end-to-end accounting to report process from recording, closing, reconciliation, and reporting across internal sub‑teams of assignment: Fixed Assets and Inventory General Accounting Intercompany Accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries in general ledger
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, provide balance confirmation of intercompany, process fixed asset transactions, and provide various reports and other complex reporting needed by stakeholders
• Perform financial statement analysis and prepare needed adjustments to reflect correct financial standing of the company
• Perform bank reconciliation, monitors and clears open items
• Perform month‑end closing activities and ensures all activities are completed timely and accurately based on global calendar and in accordance with agreed SLA
• Identify, rectify, follow up and resolve issues, and document in issue and error log
• Review and approve Blackline journals in accordance with company policy
• Perform internal controls review and complete documentation in accordance if iPace requirements
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly unit consolidation reports
• Identify process improvement opportunities

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Finance, or Commerce or equivalent
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
• Relevant work experience in fixed assets, inventory, intercompany, or general accounting transactions
• Overall years of experience per level in the field of accounting to report processes: 0-1 year for Analysts 1-2 years for Specialists 2-4 years for Senior Specialists 4-6 years for Subject Matter Experts and Supervisors
• Knowledge in SAP System and prior work experience in Shared Services Center and/or BPO industries
• Digital skills are preferred
• Ability to work under a fast-paced work environment exhibiting quality work
• Strong work ethic comprising openness, trust, and integrity
• Effective communication skills, both written and spoken English
• Experience in process migration is a plus.
