Microchip Technology Inc. in the Philippines Laguna site is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support assembly and quality processes in a fast-paced environment. You will set up equipment, monitor process performance, perform 6S activities, and ensure accurate lot tracking and documentation.

Job Description

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.

• Setup of welders, machine, knows how to operate microscope and trouble shoot minor setup problems.
• 6S activities pre- and post-shift either manual or semi-automatic.
• Can perform process monitors (visuals, SPC, sampling test) as per spec procedures task and/or responsibility.
• Computer transaction regarding the details of his/her compelled station
• Accounting of lot quantities and proper categorization of rejected parts
• Be able to decide based on existing specifications and /or criteria
• Perform other tasks as needed. Follows and complies with all normal duties and responsibilities, system procedure, flow and standard of operation.
• Initiates highlighting of any issues that could affect the safety, quality and/or output during his/her shift
