Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Business Operations Team Lead to combine hands-on operational delivery with people leadership. You will oversee optimisation runs, client onboarding, data analysis, and QA testing while guiding a small team and coordinating with product and service leads.

We value analytical thinkers with strong communication skills, experience in Excel, and familiarity with Python/SQL.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating small operational teams.
• Degree in a numerate or technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, CS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Operational mindset and ability to follow structured processes.
• Proficiency in data handling tools such as Excel; Python/SQL is an advantage.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written English communication for documentation.
• QA testing and Jira experience advantageous.
• Investment banking knowledge and familiarity with derivatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide oversight of optimisation runs.

• Lead day-to-day workload of the operations team.
