Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center Manila is seeking a Clients & Markets Risk Manager to lead the first line risk management framework across C&M. You will advise on risk, maintain the risk profile, taxonomy, appetite, and governance artefacts, and work with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with risk appetite and governance.

You will coordinate risk activities, develop risk metrics and KRIs, and leverage PwC AI tools to enhance risk identification, analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum seven years’ relevant experience in risk management, compliance, governance, internal controls, audit or a related discipline.
• Experience in a professional services, corporate or similarly complex stakeholder environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage co-branding, sponsorship and external engagement risk approvals, providing timely and practical risk advice to business stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain the C&M risk profile, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, treatment and reporting.
• Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the C&M risk taxonomy, risk appetite statement, guardrails and associated governance artefacts.
• Develop and monitor risk metrics and KRIs, analyse trends and provide meaningful insights to leadership and relevant risk governance forums.
• Maintain C&M risks, controls, issues, incidents and remediation actions within the Firm’s GRC platform, ensuring records are complete, accurate and current.
• Facilitate risk assessments, workshops, control reviews and risk-profile reviews across Clients & Markets.
• Support the identification, assessment, escalation and remediation of issues and incidents, including root-cause analysis and action tracking.
• Prepare clear and concise risk reporting for leadership and relevant governance forums.
• Build risk capability and awareness across C&M through practical guidance, training and stakeholder engagement.
• Use PwC-sanctioned AI and digital tools to improve risk identification, analysis, monitoring, reporting, GRC management and governance activities.
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline risk processes, approvals and reporting while complying with PwC technology, data and Responsible AI requirements.

POSITION / ROLE SUMMARY

The Clients & Markets (C&M) Risk Manager is responsible for managing and embedding the Clients & Markets first line risk management framework. The role provides risk support, advice and oversight across C&M activities, ensuring relevant risks are identified, assessed, monitored, managed and reported through effective governance, controls and reporting processes.

The role will coordinate key risk activities including co-branding and related risk approvals, maintenance of the C&M risk profile and taxonomy, risk appetite and metrics, issue and incident management, governance reporting and management of risk information within the Firm’s GRC platform. The position will work closely with business leaders and risk stakeholders to support informed decision-making and ensure C&M activities operate within the Firm’s risk appetite and governance requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
