Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling daily operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role requires experience in managing operations involving hazardous chemicals such as ammonia, and strong leadership in safety, quality, and performance management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

A. Operational Management

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily operational activities.
• Ensure operational targets, productivity, and quality standards are met.
• Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and workflows.

B. Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with OSH, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee safe handling, storage, and usage of ammonia and other chemicals.
• Lead risk assessments, incident reviews, and corrective action planning.
• Supervise and evaluate team performance.
• Coordinate with Safety Officers, Security, and department heads.
• Ensure staff training and competency development.
• Prepare operational, safety, and performance reports.
• Identify operational risks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or related field
• At least 5 years of operations management experience
• Proven experience in chemical or industrial operations (ammonia exposure preferred)
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and compliance management skills
• With valid OSH certificate
• Willingness to relocate to Tanauan, Batangas
