Job summary

V2X Inc. in the Philippines (LOGCAP) seeks an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations under the Deputy Task Order Manager. You will supervise personnel, drive planning, execution, and leadership for LOGCAP functions at the assigned location.

You will manage budgets, forecasts, CDRL reporting, and performance monitoring, while developing workflows to improve efficiency. Strong leadership, collaboration and a customer-focused approach are required to deliver mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management or equivalent knowledge and experience preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification desired.
• PMP certification desired; CAC eligibility and US citizenship required.
• Five to eight years as a manager in a multi-discipline environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deputy Task Order Manager with day-to-day operations of the site.
• Ensure CDRL reporting is completed within timelines and standards.

Overview

This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP***.

Under the supervision of the Deputy Task Order Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the DTO Manager with the day-to-day operational execution of all LOGCAP Program functions at the assigned location, supervises and provides leadership to assigned personnel, and has responsibility for problem resolution, planning, execution, and leadership of LOGCAP functions across the site. The Operations Manager must demonstrate exemplary management and leadership capabilities, especially in the areas of collaboration, team building, talent development, fiscal and human resources management, and process improvement. On behalf of the Department Manager, the Operations Manager will also interface directly with the Customer for mission accomplishment and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deputy Task Order Manager with the day-to-day operations of the assigned Site; provides oversight to the assigned Operations
• Ensures that all CDRL reporting requirements are met within the established timelines and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and reports related to operational activities.
• Monitors the performance of department managers and supervisors and ensure submission of CDRL reports and other tasks, as required.
• Participates in the development of functional strategy and forecasting along with research and development for operational planning.
• Supports detailed planning efforts and assists with monitoring contractual performance.
• Collects and analyzes data identifying trends and acts as an advisor on operational matters.
• Create and maintain records for all operational activities and ensure that all documents are filed properly.
• Develop and maintain operational processes and workflows to ensure that resources are used efficiently.
• Provides leadership, consultation, and mentoring to all assigned personnel, creates development opportunities for junior leaders and fosters a culture of continuous teaming throughout the

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management or equivalent knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification desired
  • PMP certification desired.
  • Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Experience:
  • Five to eight years as a manager in a multi-discipline environment comparable to that offered under this contract.
  • Preferred background in military installation base support/infrastructure management.
• Skills:
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledgeable of how to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language with proficiency.
  • Requires a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation, and teamwork.
  • Must exercise discretion and good sound judgment.
  • Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office and/or other related applications.
• Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Assists with the Management of assigned personnel as required.
• Working Conditions:
  • Must be capable of working in various weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
