Job summary

V2X is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler located in the Philippines to support LOGCAP operations. The role bridges maintenance and supply chains to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.

You will develop preventive maintenance schedules, review work orders, allocate resources, and coordinate with engineering and operations. Strong safety knowledge and CMMS experience are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for assets (vehicles, generators, HVAC, facilities).
  • Review work orders, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources based on mission-critical needs.
  • Coordinate with engineering, supply, and operations to ensure parts, tools, and manpower are available.
  • Create daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules aligned with operational tempo.
  • Monitor progress and update schedules in CMMS; report on status and backlog.
  • Ensure compliance with LOGCAP standards and safety protocols.

This position will be physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP

Under the supervision of the Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager, the Scheduler ensures that all preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities are effectively planned, scheduled, and executed to support mission readiness under LOGCAP operations. This role bridges maintenance execution teams, supply chain, and operations to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for critical assets (vehicles, generators, HVAC, facilities).

  • Review work orders, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources based on mission-critical needs.

  • Coordinate with engineering, supply, and operations to ensure parts, tools, and manpower availability

  • Create daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules aligned with operational tempo.

  • Balance workload across teams to optimize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks

  • Track and adjust schedules based on emergent repairs or mission changes.

  • Issue work packages with detailed job plans, safety requirements, and technical instructions.

  • Monitor work progress and update schedules in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

  • Ensure compliance with LOGCAP standards, military regulations, and safety protocols.

  • Generate reports on equipment status, backlog, and schedule compliance.

  • Provide metrics such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), schedule adherence, and resource utilization.

  • Recommend improvements to reduce downtime and enhance reliability.

  • Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED associate’s degree preferred.

  • Education can be substituted with work experience on a year-for-year basis.

  • Must be a Filipino Citizen

  • Experience:

  • Approximately x (3) years’ experience on electrical installation, construction, maintenance, and preventive maintenance.

  • Must have an excellent understanding of all safety directives and policies regarding the operation of equipment.

  • Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance scheduling

  • Ability to manage multiple job sites and priorities.

  • Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with all people including those from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds.

  • Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follows safety rules, practices safe work habits, utilizes appropriate safety equipment, and reports unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator.

  • Must have basic computer skills.

  • Working Conditions:

  • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather condition with temperatures averaging from 60 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, humid, tropical environment with extreme weather condition, rain, wind, typhoons, humidity conditions.

  • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

  • Physical Reuirements:

  • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
