Job summary

onsemi is seeking a detail-oriented student to assist in data collection, documentation, and preliminary analysis supporting prototype builds and process qualification. You will help coordinate NPI tasks, update BOMs, and track process documentation to accelerate timelines.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure accurate records, schedule tests, and prepare summary reports for engineering review, under guidance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Electrical Technology or Computer Technology.
• Attention to detail with good communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection, documentation, and preliminary analysis to speed project timelines and reduce prototype delays.
• Support non-critical NPI tasks, including process audits, BOM updates, and CI action coordination.
• Gather and organize production data, update process documentation, and maintain records for prototype builds and qualification runs.
• Assist in reviewing process compliance, updating BOMs, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for accuracy.
• Help schedule and monitor product tests, compile results, and prepare summary reports for engineering review.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency in NPI workflows and support minor process improvements under guidance.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure a smooth transition from development to manufacturing.
