Job summary

Metropolitan Medical Center in Manila on-site is seeking a Project-Based Pharmacy Associate responsible for compounding and dispensing medicines for out-patient, screening prescriptions, and ensuring accuracy at the point of care.

You will maintain patient medication records, provide patient counselling, manage stock from the main pharmacy, and handle cashiering tasks with precise accounting.

Responsibilities

• Compounding and dispensing of medicines for out-patient
• Screen and accurately dispense prescriptions
• Check and monitor expiry of OPD medicines
• Do purchase requisitions to main pharmacy
• Receive and display stocks from main pharmacy
• Apply the rules the First Expiry-First Out to avoid expired medicines
• Request and receive requisitions from main pharmacy
• Maintain patient medication records and prescription files
• Provide patient counselling
• Responsible for handling cashiering duties including accurate processing and recording of transactions
• Ensures all sales collection are properly accounted for remitted to the designated cashier on duty at the ground floor
